Albert Johannes

This rustic three-master was built in 1928 as a sailing freighter. After many eventful years in this role, the ship was converted into a charter vessel and now sails the North and Baltic Sea as a schooner.

The Albert Johannes offers the perfect base for a relaxed sailing holiday for medium-sized to larger groups. But there are also various sailing options for individual travellers. On multi-day trips, 26 people can sail aboard and on day trips you can book a group of up to 65 people.

Come on board and take a trip back in time. Below deck, in addition to the traditional cabins, there is a ship’s saloon with a rustic flair, an open-plan kitchen with bar, 2 toilets and a shower. This part of the ship is perfect for rounding off an eventful day of sailing.

Under the guidance of the captain and his crew, you will steer, navigate and operate the sails yourself. No sailing experience is required for this, as we provide a comprehensive introduction to the basics of sailing on each trip.

Whether it is a short trip of a few hours or an evening sunset trip, a weekend trip, a week or longer – at the Albert Johannes you will find everything that makes this dream an unforgettable experience.
