Elegant, stable, and easy to sail
The classic sailing ship Quadra is a two-masted schooner, built after the model of the Lelanta II by the renowned American naval architect John Alden. His designs are known not only for their elegance and grace but also for their excellent stability. In addition, the ship is easy to sail with a small crew.
With her classic lines, the Quadra is a beautiful sailing ship to behold. Like her original John Alden sister ships, she is fast, easy to handle, and very comfortable. Naturally, she is equipped with all modern comfort and safety features.
Spacious, bright, and comfortable
The interior of the Quadra is exceptionally spacious, bright, and inviting for a yacht, with many beautiful oak accents. Everything is brand new and crafted with great care in 2025.
From the doghouse with its cozy seating area, you walk straight down. On either side are the double cabins, leading into the inviting salon with an open galley

History of the Quadra
The Quadra was built in the late 1980s at a German shipyard. Despite its age, the vessel was never completed and has never sailed, so there is little history to tell.
The first owner had it built based on the design of the Lelanta II by John Alden but never went beyond completing the hull. The second owner wanted to turn it into a motorsailer and shortened the vessel, significantly reducing the keel as well. In 2012, the hull was sold to a Dutch owner, who intended to restore it as a sailing ship, but only made modifications to the superstructures.
In 2020, the current owners purchased the hull to bring the original classic sailing yacht, based on the Lelanta II design, back to life. Construction began in the fall of 2021 and is expected to continue until the fall of 2025. From 2026, you will be able to enjoy beautiful sailing trips on the Quadra.
