Pegasus

The Pegasus is a fast sailing ship, comfortably furnished, light and open and offers accommodation for up to 18 guests. The ship is an opportunity to travel almost emission-free during your holiday. Enjoy nature, help actively while sailing, meet new people or travel with acquaintances. For a trip on the Pegasus, you do not need any sailing knowledge or experience, all manoeuvres are carried out under the guidance of qualified personnel.

The Pegasus has a large saloon and is pleasantly bright thanks to the skylights. It is divided into two parts: A cosy living area and a dining area. There are a total of 7 spacious and bright cabins on the Pegasus, 5 of which are equipped with 2 berths and 2 with 4 berths. All cabins have their own sink with hot and cold running water, mirror, heating, porthole for ventilation, 220V sockets and storage space. The berths are freshly made up with sheets and pillowcases, and a duvet can also be hired on request.

If you prefer not to be away from home for too long, there is also the option of booking a day trip or having a party on board.

On our trips, we take you into a world without worries. The wind decides where the trip goes. Along the German or Danish coast, picturesque islands, beautiful bays, small towns, cosy villages or a lonely jetty in the middle of nature. Everything is possible. There is so much to experience that words cannot describe it – you have to experience it for yourself!

Sailing trips

Single travellers, families and small groups who want to experience an active yet relaxing holiday on a traditional sailing ship have the opportunity to take part in the following sailing trips. Don’t worry, sailing experience is not necessary – anyone can join! The Pegasus is sailed by an experienced and qualified crew who will guide you the right way. Learn the basics of sailing on a traditional sailing ship, climb into the jib net and set sails. If you want, it is also possible to take the helm yourself under supervision.

After arriving on board, you will be welcomed by the captain and his crew and the main ‘rules of the ship’ will be explained to you. You will get to know your fellow sailors and together we will discuss the voyage/route. On the first sailing day, you will get detailed explanations about the ship and the sails. Then the sails are hoisted and we set sail for the first port of destination. The adventure begins!

Each day we sail for an average of 5-8 hours. At the end of the day, we sail into a cosy harbour or anchor in an idyllic bay. Of course, besides sailing, there is always plenty of time to get to know the local area. The route is never fixed in advance, but depends on weather and wind. Relaxing days with sun and swimming are just as possible as days with high winds and demanding sailing – it’s all in there.
