Albert Johannes

This rustic three-master was built in 1928 as a sailing freighter. After many eventful years in this role, the ship was converted into a charter vessel and now sails the North and Baltic Sea as a schooner.

The Albert Johannes offers the perfect base for a relaxed sailing holiday for medium-sized to larger groups. But there are also various sailing options for individual travellers. On multi-day trips, 26 people can sail aboard and on day trips you can book a group of up to 65 people.

Come on board and take a trip back in time. Below deck you will find , traditional cabins, a cosy ship’s saloon with a rustic atmosphere, an open kitchen with bar, and practical facilities such as two toilets and a shower. This part of the ship is perfect for rounding off an eventful day of sailing.

Under the expert guidance of the captain and crew, you get the chance to take the helm, navigate and operate the sails yourself. No experience? No problem! The crew provides a clear and accessible introduction to the basics of sailing.

Whether you choose a short evening sunset trip, a weekend away or a longer sailing trip, the Albert Johannes combines nostalgic charm with an unforgettable experience on the water. Come aboard and get carried away by time AND the waves.
