Sail this summer to the vibrant North!

Step aboard the Quadra and set sail for Copenhagen. This summer sailing trip combines the best of both worlds: the vibrant atmosphere of historic cities and the tranquility of the vast Baltic Sea. As the wind carries you forward, you’ll discover picturesque islands, untouched nature, and welcoming harbors. Along the way, enjoy sun, sea, serenity, and cozy moments – the perfect blend for a relaxing and adventurous holiday.

⛵ From Laboe to Copenhagen – a route full of possibilities

This first summer voyage of the Quadra begins in Laboe, a charming town on the German Baltic coast. From here, we choose – depending on the wind and weather – the most beautiful route toward the Danish capital.

🌿 Around Fyn – authentic fishing harbors and charming towns

One possible route takes us along the left side of the island of Funen, passing towns such as Middelfart and Bogense. These old fishing harbors still exude the charm of bygone times. Stroll through the narrow streets, admire the historic facades, and enjoy a cup of coffee on the harbor promenade.

🏰 Via Ærø and the Great Belt – history and nature hand in hand

Another stunning option takes us via Marstal on the island of Ærø, before sailing through the impressive Great Belt. In the charming town of Nyborg, you can enjoy a city walk and visit the impressive castle dating back to 1170. Afterward, we set course for the island of Samsø and sail along the northern coast of Zealand, where Hundested and Helsingør await with their cozy village centers and beautiful castles. Eventually, we reach vibrant Copenhagen – a city full of culture, history, and Scandinavian charm.

🌞 Enjoy on board – active and relaxed

Besides sailing, there’s plenty of time to relax, read a good book, swim in the clear blue waters, or explore the land. The fresh sea air works up an appetite – and our chef knows exactly how to satisfy it!

Each day, you’ll be treated to a hearty breakfast, a delicious lunch, and a flavorful dinner. Dining together on deck, with the sunset as your backdrop, is an experience you won’t soon forget.

⚓ An unforgettable summer experience

Whether you’re seeking the energy of the city, the tranquility of the sea, or the adventure of sailing – this trip offers it all. Set sail north this summer and embark on an unforgettable sailing journey!

The route is an example and will be adjusted according to wind and weather.

Frequently asked questions

We still handle your bookings personally and therefore do not have an automatic booking system. This way, we can enable you to reserve individual places for a few days without any obligation. This allows you, for example, to arrange your holiday without someone stealing your place from under your nose. For this reason, we cannot keep track of the exact number of free places on a daily basis. However, we regularly check the availability of our sailing holidays. Therefore, you can generally assume that plenty of free places are still available on all trips that are not marked as ‘fully booked’ or ‘Last Minute’. Call us or use our booking form if you want to know the exact number of places available.

If you are travelling alone and have not booked a private cabin, you will be accommodated in a shared cabin. The shared cabins are usually assigned based on gender.

Exceptions:

  • On the Belle Amie and the Seatrips yachts, there are sometimes mixed-gender cabins as well.
  • There are no shared cabins on the Sir Robert. Are you travelling alone? Then you should book a single cabin.

Yes, vegetarians and allergies/intolerances can be catered for on most ships. On some ships, the menu can also be adapted for vegans. However, there is only one menu per day on the programme. Therefore, please let us know during your booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

In principle, all our trips are suitable for both experienced and novice sailors. The professional crew on board will teach you everything you need to know. In some cases (e.g. on Atlantic crossings) initial sailing experience may be an advantage/requirement. In this case, this will be clearly indicated in the cruise description.
