This cruise departs from Stockholm via the fascinating archipelago, the Kalmar Sound, along the Swedish east coast to the Danish islands, also known as the ‘pearls of the Baltic Sea’.
Sweden’s capital Stockholm stretches across 14 islands in Lake Mälaren and proudly overlooks the Baltic Sea. Its imposing public buildings, castles and museums tell its rich ancient history in a fantastic way. This is where your sailing trip with the Belle Amie begins. On the morning of July 17th we meet on board and sail together into Sweden’s legendary archipelago. The Stockholm archipelago has over 24,000 islands and offers a fantastic sailing area. This region of Sweden is truly marvellous and an insider tip for all those who love Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea: hills, green forests, typical Scandinavian houses and a special archipelago coastline. This coast is particularly characterised by numerous small, shiny red rocks. A beautiful and sheltered sailing area full of wonderful impressions of vast and almost unspoilt nature. You simply have to explore this area and then go for a swim in the crystal-clear water. Whether we anchor in one of the picturesque bays on our leg destinations or take advantage of the long summer nights to sail at night depends on our joint decision, as we choose our destination harbours together according to the wind and weather.
On board, you don’t need any previous sailing knowledge,as the experienced regular crew will guide you. After the first few days, you will become confident and know how to get the old lady sailing. If you feel like it, you can of course also learn how to steer the ship. The experienced skipper will give you plenty of support. The Belle Amie is equipped with all the necessary modern navigation equipment.
On this trip, we want to sail actively, go on manoeuvres together, navigate, steer the ship, eat delicious food, relax, perhaps read a good book, go for a swim in the sea, explore the harbour towns, take special photos and sail a lot.
This trip will be accompanied by a professional crew and there will be 10 – 16 guests on board.
