Swaensborgh

The Swaensborgh is a magnificent three-masted schooner with topsails, available for day trips and multi-day sailing trips.

A sailing trip or holiday aboard the Swaensborgh begins the moment the impressive silhouette of the traditional tall ship appears on the horizon. The majestic three-masted schooner, with her tall masts and classic lines, breathes history, adventure, and freedom. As soon as you step aboard via the gangway, you leave everyday life behind and begin a special journey across the North Sea or the Baltic Sea. Mostly powered by the wind, you can feel the ship gliding smoothly through the waves.

On deck

On deck, a relaxed atmosphere awaits. As the sails are slowly hoisted and the wind fills them, you immediately experience the power and elegance of traditional sailing. The fresh sea air, the sound of the water along the hull, and the endless sea views create a sense of peace that can only be found on the water. Comfortable seating areas are spread throughout the ship, both in the sun and wind as well as in sheltered spots, so every guest can fully enjoy the voyage.

Accommodation on board

Below deck, the Swaensborgh offers a surprising amount of space and comfort. The atmospheric deckhouse with its large bar forms the heart of the ship, where guests gather for a drink, good conversations, or a cozy evening after a day at sea. In the spacious dining room, shared meals become an experience in themselves. Long tables invite guests to come together, laugh, and share stories. The well-equipped kitchen contains everything needed to prepare delicious meals.

The cabins below deck are bright, warm, and comfortably furnished. After a day filled with wind, sun, and sea, they provide the perfect place to unwind. The gentle rocking of the ship and the sound of the water create a unique atmosphere that makes every overnight stay special.

The experience

What makes sailing aboard the Swaensborgh truly special is the involvement of the crew. With enthusiasm and expertise, the professional crew introduces guests to the world of traditional sailing. Those who wish can take the helm themselves, help hoist the sails, or experience what it is like to sail a large ship together across the sea. No sailing experience is required — curiosity and enjoyment are more than enough.

Whether it is a relaxing day trip, a multi-day sailing voyage, a company outing, a family weekend, or an exclusive event, every journey aboard the Swaensborgh has its own unique character. The combination of history, comfort, adventure, and hospitality makes every trip an unforgettable experience that stays with you long afterwards.

Aboard the Swaensborgh, it is not only about sailing, but about experiencing, connecting, and enjoying the freedom of the sea.
