Over 100 years ago, the Iris was used in the North Sea as a herring lugger. The ship later got a new life when it was converted into a comfortable charter vessel and now spends her summers in the North and Baltic Sea.
Her traditional ketch rigging combined with her sturdy steel hull make her a great ship on which to learn the basics and explore all aspects of sailing on a historic ship. She accommodates 12 guests in six private double cabins and features spacious and well thought-out common areas below deck. Guests can relax in the large saloon with dining area, separate seating area and even a small library on board!
The Iris is perfect for those looking for an adventurous sailing experience and want to explore the coasts and islands of Germany, Sweden and Denmark, cross the English Channel or discover the French coast.
