This is a unique opportunity to experience authentic sailing in Denmark. Join the crew and sail the beautiful waters of the charming island of Bornholm to the cosmopolitan capital Copenhagen.
This trip is perfect for adventurers who want to spend more time on the water and discover the feeling of sailing on a historic wooden ship. You can try out your skills at hoisting the sails, taking the helm and maybe even sailing under the stars.
When you go on an adventure with the schooner Aron, the journey is the goal and not the destination. Our sailing trips offer unique experiences, where the wind in the sails, the roar of the waves and the togetherness on the ship create memories that last.
This trip starts in Allinge on Bornholm and ends in Copenhagen. On this trip you can expect longer sailing days, open horizons and even the possibility to sail at night. This trip further offers the ultimate chance to combine a holiday on Bornholm with a city-trip in Copenhagen. Denmark pure!
Along the way, we let the wind decide which islands and towns to visit. Skippers Gorm and Helene hope to take their guests to the tiny nature reserve islands of Christiansø and Frederiksø just east of Bornholm. Explore this small island cluster that has become a haven for grey seals and migratory birds. The islands offer peace and quiet for nature lovers, with beautiful landscapes and an abundance of wildlife.
From Christiansø, you can experience exciting open-water sailing towards the coast of Sweden or the famous Møns Klint. Møns Klint is a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is known for its towering chalk cliffs that rise more than 100 metres above the Baltic Sea. The site offers breathtaking views, unique geological formations and land-based hiking opportunities.
Finish in the bustling capital of Copenhagen. Known for its picturesque canals, colourful buildings, world-class restaurants and thriving art scene, it is well worth spending a night or two here after your sailing holiday in Denmark.
All sailing trips on the Aron are all about good sailing, delicious food, pleasant company, and actively participating ( to the extent you can) in all daily activities on board.
