Depart from Svendborg and end on the island of Bornholm, with its lovely Danish charm and medieval castle ruins. The wind determines this trip, with more emphasis on the sailing itself and some longer sailing days. Depending on the weather, this trip may also include night-time sailing.
The Aron sets sail from her home port of Svendborg and sails east to the island of Zealand. En route, explore sleepy Danish islets as everyone works together, hoisting the sails and learning some basic navigation techniques in sheltered waters. Enjoy the picturesque town of Næstved, known for its rich history, charming cobbled streets and beautiful medieval architecture. Tucked away in the southern part of Zealand, Næstved holds their annual gathering of traditional wooden boats from the area during our trip. Weather permitting, we will participate in this. See the many beautiful ships and meet the fanatics who keep the sailing cultural heritage alive.
On the final leg of the trip, we sail across open water to the island of Bornholm. Bornholm is known for its lovely Danish charm, medieval castle ruins and picturesque coastal towns. With its rich history, beautiful landscapes and annual gatherings of traditional wooden boats, Bornholm offers a unique mix of maritime heritage and natural beauty to explore. Ideal to continue your holiday here after your sailing trip.
All sailing trips on the Aron are all about good sailing, delicious food, pleasant company, and actively participating ( to the extent you can) in all daily activities on board.
