Experience Scandinavia! Come aboard the Aron and experience unforgettable sailing days on the Baltic Sea. Are you ready for an adventure? Say goodbye to everyday life, get on board and sail with us. Learn the basics of sailing and navigation or deepen your existing knowledge.

This sailing trip takes you from the Danish capital Copenhagen to the Swedish city of Gothenburg. During the trip, the wind will determine where we go. You will spend the nights in harbour towns or at anchor and experience Scandinavian nature from the water during the day. Along the way, we hope to visit Anholt and Læsø.

Anholt is a Danish island in the Kattegat, located between Denmark and Sweden. The island is rich in Viking history and has been the scene of several battles and conquests over the centuries. Anholt offers a peaceful haven for nature lovers looking for a quiet escape. Stroll along the peaceful beaches while keeping your eyes open for seals and an abundance of seabirds.

The island of Læsø is famous for its seaweed-covered houses. Unique to the island are the 19 remaining seaweed roofs that are more than 300 years old. Læsø also has a beautiful coastline and pristine white beaches, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and beachgoers.

On your journey from the coast of Copenhagen to the fascinating city of Gothenburg, you will experience the diversity of the Baltic Sea. Feel the wind in your hair and listen to the gentle sound of the sea. You sail along Sweden’s west coast and reach the skerries south of Gothenburg. This coast is mainly characterised by numerous small, rocky cliffs and islands. A beautiful and sheltered sailing area. The lively city of Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden and offers a cosy centre that is definitely worth a visit. You disembark there after an eventful sailing trip with many new memories.

This trip is perfect for adventurers who want to spend more time on the water and discover the feeling of sailing on a historic wooden ship. You can try out your skills at hoisting the sails, taking the helm and maybe even climbing in the mast

When you go on an adventure with the schooner Aron, the journey is the goal and not the destination. Our sailing trips offer unique experiences, where the wind in the sails, the roar of the waves and the togetherness on the ship create memories that last.

All sailing trips on the Aron are all about good sailing, delicious food, pleasant company, and actively participating ( to the extent you can) in all daily activities on board.

Frequently asked questions

We still handle your bookings personally and therefore do not have an automatic booking system. This way, we can enable you to reserve individual places for a few days without any obligation. This allows you, for example, to arrange your holiday without someone stealing your place from under your nose. For this reason, we cannot keep track of the exact number of free places on a daily basis. However, we regularly check the availability of our sailing holidays. Therefore, you can generally assume that plenty of free places are still available on all trips that are not marked as ‘fully booked’ or ‘Last Minute’. Call us or use our booking form if you want to know the exact number of places available.

If you are travelling alone and have not booked a private cabin, you will be accommodated in a shared cabin. Shared cabins are normally divided by gender. Only on the Belle Amie and Seatrips Yachts do they sometimes have mixed cabins.

Yes, vegetarians and allergies/intolerances can be catered for on most ships. However, there is only one menu per day on the programme. Therefore, please let us know during your booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

In principle, all our trips are suitable for both experienced and novice sailors. The professional crew on board will teach you everything you need to know. In some cases (e.g. on Atlantic crossings) initial sailing experience may be an advantage/requirement. In this case, this will be clearly indicated in the cruise description.
