From the cosy student town of Bergen, we sail into the ‘Outer Hardangerfjord’, unique here are the beautiful orchards and delicious Cider. A pristine and varied landscape with steep and forested mountain slopes, waterfalls and many islands.
The sailing distances are not very long this sailing holiday, leaving plenty of time after sailing for a nice walk and we will visit nice little ports such as Våge, as well as beautiful anchorages in the middle of Norway’s overwhelming nature.
We end the sailing trip in Norheimsund and the plan is to stay here for a day so we can hike to one of Norway’s most popular waterfalls, the Steinsdalsfossen. 50 metres high and you can walk under here (without getting wet).
A beautiful and sheltered sailing area, ideal for those unsure of their ‘sea legs’, or as a first introduction to sea sailing. Daily distances are between 14 and 21 nautical miles. The above schedule depends on weather, wind and tide, we will deviate from it if necessary.
Information on transfer options to the departure and from the arrival port are available from us on request.
Category C: Relaxed sailing holiday with shorter day distances and plenty of time for sightseeing.
