The journey begins in Grenada, where you will be warmly welcomed by the crew of the Twister. After a brief introduction to the ship and your fellow passengers, you’ll settle into your cabin and prepare for an unforgettable experience. On the first evening, you’ll receive safety instructions, meet the crew, review the itinerary, and toast to a fantastic 13-day journey ahead.
With the captain at the helm, who knows the area inside out, we sail along the most beautiful islands and idyllic coves, perfect for anchoring. From here, we explore the islands and discover the impressive coral reefs. The Caribbean islands are famous for their white sandy beaches, palm trees and turquoise sea, but did you know that many of these islands are volcanic? The steep slopes are covered with tropical rainforests and mystical cloud forests, while volcanoes shape the landscape, and mountain streams lead to spectacular waterfalls.
The journey takes place at a relaxed “cruise” pace, allowing us to sail less and have more time to enjoy everything the Caribbean has to offer. There will be time to go ashore for a refreshing swim, snorkel, or simply relax on the island.
We begin our sailing journey from Grenada, then sail north to the Tobago Cays and the Grenadines. This unbelievably beautiful area consists of more than 100 inhabited and uninhabited islands, and is known as one of the best sailing destinations in the world. We take the time to explore these gems in detail, with a magnificent ship and a crew who knows all the best spots. Of course, there’s also room for your ideas – if there are places you’d love to visit, let us know, and we’ll adjust our route where possible!
A must-see is the famous horseshoe-shaped reef, where we will definitely make a stop before sailing on to Saint Vincent. This volcanic island is home to the active La Soufriere volcano, which occasionally emits ash. The island is known for its fertile soil, where bananas and high-quality cotton grow. Mass tourism has largely bypassed this place, but the island still offers pristine nature, rainforests, waterfalls, and idyllic sandy beaches that are well worth exploring.
After a few hours of sailing, we reach Saint Lucia, the “Land of the Iguanas.” This island is famous for its two cone-shaped mountains and delicious fruits like papaya, mango, passion fruit, and banana. On Friday evenings, you may have the chance to join a traditional “Friday Night Party,” complete with rum, barbecue, and the lively sounds of calypso or reggae music.
On January 3, 2026, our journey ends in Grenada, where you will have the option to continue your adventure or begin your journey home.
This journey offers the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and culture, with a unique opportunity to discover the hidden gems of the Caribbean islands. Don’t miss out!
