7 Days of Sea Air, Teamwork & Baltic ‘Hygge’ in the Danish Archipelago

From September 28 to October 4, 2026, we’ll depart from the charming town of Flensburg for an unforgettable sailing adventure to Denmark. From this picturesque harbor, we set course for one of the Baltic Sea’s most beautiful regions: sailing around the green island of Funen and exploring the enchanting South Danish islands – a fairytale landscape of islands, bays, and picturesque villages.

On this journey, it’s not the clock but the wind, the waves, and our sense of adventure that set the pace. That’s what makes this experience so special: you don’t need any sailing experience, just a love of the sea, adventure, and good company. The rest you’ll learn from the experienced crew on board the logger Belle Amie, who will guide you step by step in sailing, navigation, and life on board.

Harbors to Explore Around Funen

  • Svendborg – a lively sailing harbor with narrow streets, charming shops, and cozy cafés where you can enjoy local delicacies.
  • Faaborg – a picturesque harbor town with half-timbered houses, a peaceful fjord, and atmospheric evenings along the quay.
  • Middelfart – known for its impressive bridge panorama over the Little Belt; if you’re lucky, you might spot porpoises in the evening light.
  • Odense – a modern, vibrant city harbor full of culture, restaurants, and urban flair.

Which harbors we visit exactly? That’s up to the wind – the cities mentioned are typical and promising stops, but the real adventure lies in the freedom of sailing itself.

🌅 Days at Sea – Evenings for the Soul

During this sailing week, you’ll enjoy the perfect mix of action, relaxation, and togetherness:

  • Sailing the Baltic, working together with ropes and sails
  • Steering by compass and chasing the glittering sea at the bow
  • Cooking in the galley and sharing laughs on deck with your new sailing companions
  • Take a dip in the crystal-clear Baltic waters whenever the sea calls
  • Drop anchor in peaceful bays while the evening sky slowly deepens to purple
  • Or mooring in small harbor towns, where the masts gently clatter and the air smells of salt and freedom

On board the Belle Amie, there’s only one rule: make yourself comfortable, feel the sea, and live in the moment. Whether you sleep in a cozy cabin or in a hammock on deck, under the stars and to the rhythm of the water.

Frequently asked questions

We still handle your bookings personally and therefore do not have an automatic booking system. This way, we can enable you to reserve individual places for a few days without any obligation. This allows you, for example, to arrange your holiday without someone stealing your place from under your nose. For this reason, we cannot keep track of the exact number of free places on a daily basis. However, we regularly check the availability of our sailing holidays. Therefore, you can generally assume that plenty of free places are still available on all trips that are not marked as ‘fully booked’ or ‘Last Minute’. Call us or use our booking form if you want to know the exact number of places available.

If you are travelling alone and have not booked a private cabin, you will be accommodated in a shared cabin. The shared cabins are usually assigned based on gender.

Exceptions:

  • On the Belle Amie and the Seatrips yachts, there are sometimes mixed-gender cabins as well.
  • There are no shared cabins on the Sir Robert. Are you travelling alone? Then you should book a single cabin.

Yes, vegetarians and allergies/intolerances can be catered for on most ships. On some ships, the menu can also be adapted for vegans. However, there is only one menu per day on the programme. Therefore, please let us know during your booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

In principle, all our trips are suitable for both experienced and novice sailors. The professional crew on board will teach you everything you need to know. In some cases (e.g. on Atlantic crossings) initial sailing experience may be an advantage/requirement. In this case, this will be clearly indicated in the cruise description.
