A 4-day trip from Stralsund. In the 4 days we can sail once around Rügen, to Hiddensee or, if the wind is favourable, to Denmark. In any case, it will be a calm start, because in Stralsund you can set sail safely in any wind and weather and you are guaranteed to sail regardless of the wind direction.
You will be welcomed by the ship’s crew on Wednesday, 1 October from 8 p.m. in Stralsund’s city harbour. Afterwards there will be something tasty to eat and a short briefing by the captain with a cold or warm drink. The next morning, it’s time to cast off for the first time. You can help set the sails straight away – every helping hand is always welcome. Nevertheless, there is plenty of time to enjoy the fantastic view and the fresh sea air.
Stralsund is an ideal departure port for a tour around the island of Rügen. This largest island in Germany offers something for everyone: from the serene ports of Gager and Lohme to the lively seaside resorts such as Binz, Sellin and Lauterbach. And of course, the world-famous chalk cliffs are not to be missed!
Setting course southeast from Stralsund, the Usedom peninsula looms up after just a few hours, with its picturesque seaside resorts and vast, white beaches. Even Poland is now within reach.
Looking forward to a real sea adventure towards the far north? Perhaps we sail past Hiddensee with its charming ports Vitte and Kloster and navigate through narrow waterways to the open sea. In clear weather, the impressive 128-metre-high chalk cliffs on the Danish island of Møn soon appear on the horizon.
The exact route always depends on the weather and wind and can therefore only be discussed on board. On Sunday 5 October, we return to Stralsund in the afternoon.
