Celebrate Pentecost in a unique atmosphere – on a traditional sailing ship, right in the middle of the Baltic Sea.
Feel the fresh sea breeze on your face, lean back relaxed against the railing, and let yourself be swept away by the magic of sailing. If the weather permits, we will also plan a cozy barbecue evening during this trip – with delicious meat from our trusted butcher and, of course, mouthwatering vegetarian delights.

Start of the Adventure

On the first morning, after breakfast, we start with a thorough briefing: you’ll get to know the ship, receive all the important safety information on board, and get acquainted with daily life at sea. After that, it’s time to hoist the sails, set the course, and cast off – your adventure begins!

Sailing Together and Relaxing

Together with the captain and crew, you roll up your sleeves, help with maneuvers, and learn how to keep a traditional sailing ship on course. But don’t worry – there’s plenty of time in between to lie on deck in the sun, read, chat, practice knots, take the helm (of course with guidance!), help in the galley, play games, knit, or simply stare out at the water and completely unwind.

Where the Wind Takes Us

Where the journey takes us is determined by wind and weather – and of course, we discuss it together on board. Thanks to the extra day off over Pentecost, there’s a good chance we’ll reach Danish waters and experience the springtime beauty of the Danish South Sea: an idyllic archipelago with clear waters, small fishing villages, historic towns, and blooming fields of rapeseed. No mass tourism, no hotel blocks – just pure nature experiences and maritime relaxation.

The German coast, with its picturesque fjords, also has much to offer. Perhaps we’ll sail to Flensburg or take a detour to Kappeln on the Schlei? Wherever the wind takes us – one thing is certain: you will never forget this journey.

Frequently asked questions

We still handle bookings personally and therefore do not have an automated booking system. This allows us to offer you the option to reserve individual spots without obligation for a few days. This way, for example, you can arrange your vacation without anyone snatching your spot right under your nose. For this reason, we are unable to keep track of the exact number of available spots on a daily basis. However, we regularly check the availability of our sailing holidays. Therefore, you can generally assume that there are still enough available spots on all trips that are not marked as “fully booked” or “Last Minute.” Call us or use our booking form if you want to know the exact number of available spots.

If you are travelling alone and have not booked a private cabin, you will be accommodated in a shared cabin. The shared cabins are usually assigned based on gender.

Exceptions:

  • On the Belle Amie and the Seatrips yachts, there are sometimes mixed-gender cabins as well.
  • On the Sir Robert, there are no shared cabins. Are you traveling alone? Then you must book a single cabin..

Yes, vegetarians and allergies/intolerances can be catered for on most ships. On some ships, the menu can also be adapted for vegans. However, there is only one menu per day on the programme. Therefore, please let us know during your booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

In principle, all our trips are suitable for both experienced and novice sailors. The professional crew on board will teach you everything you need to know. In some cases (e.g. on Atlantic crossings) initial sailing experience may be an advantage/requirement. In this case, this will be clearly indicated in the cruise description.
