From the city harbour, the Iris will take you across the Warnow to the Baltic Sea and back again. In 4 hours, we will gladly give you an insight into the world of traditional Dutch sailing ships. Maybe you want to help the crew hoist the sails or stand at the helm yourself. Whether you want to ask a few questions to the captain and his crew or just enjoy the atmosphere and the view, this is definitely a trip for everyone.
Hanse Sail
The Hanse Sail will take place for the 33rd time in 2024! A few months after the fall of the Berlin Wall, visionary organisers created a maritime festival characterised from the start by warm hospitality, curiosity about crews from all corners of the world and cosmopolitanism.
Today, the maritime festival on and around the Warnow and off the coast of Warnemünde is one of the largest windjammer gatherings in the world. Every year, it attracts more than 250 tallships and museum ships and more than a million visitors. So come along too!
