This crossing from Kappeln on the Schlei takes us via the Kiel Canal, with a possible stopover on the Elbe and/or Helgoland, to Hamburg, where the Hamburger Hafengeburtstag takes place a few days later.
Our crew will welcome you on 30 April from 18:00 and welcome you on board. Before we depart the next day, the captain will give a brief explanation of the upcoming voyage.
We sail along the German coast to Kiel, or possibly make a side trip to the Danish South Sea. In Kiel, we pass through the lock to the Kiel Canal. The passage to Brunsbüttel takes about 8 hours. In Brunsbüttel, we lock out again and start the second part of the voyage, with a stopover on Helgoland, an anchorage on the Elbe or in Glückstadt, depending on the wishes of our fellow travellers and the weather. On 5 May, we will reach Hamburg with rising tide, where this trip ends.
