The sailing trip around Rügen and Hiddensee is also suitable for beginners (without sailing experience), but everyone should be able to move safely on a sailboat. Experienced sailors also come into their own. The Enjoy is a fast yacht, if the wind and course are right we sail under gennaker or spinnaker.

Whether you are an experienced sailor or have never been on a sailboat before – sailing is suitable for everyone! Our experienced skippers are on hand with help and advice and will teach you everything you need to know. You will quickly notice how easy it is to take the helm and master the boat.

Are you ready to hoist the sails and let the wind take you on an unforgettable journey? Book your place today and let’s sail together!

Trip details:

  • Minimum number of participants: 4 people
  • Sailing trip around Rügen and to Hiddensee
  • Active sailing, but also time for land-based activities, swimming etc.
  • The exact route always depends on weather and wind and can therefore only be discussed on board.
  • breakfast and packed lunch on board, dinner ( together) in the evening in a restaurant.
  • accommodation in double cabins, single cabin bookable at extra cost

Day 1- Check-in – safety briefing – introduction to the yacht
10:30 Check-in and cabin distribution
Safety briefing – getting ready for sea – casting off – setting sail.
We set sail north and sail to Hiddensee (Kloster).
In the afternoon we dock at the port Kloster, you have plenty of time to explore the island – free evening activities. When the last ferry leaves Hiddensee, you can enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful island.

Day 2 – onwards after breakfast. Along the ‘söte Länneken’ (Dutch for sweet land; that’s how the island of Hiddensee is called) and Cape Arkona.
We call at the ports of Glowe, Lohme or Sassnitz.

Day 3 – Breakfast and we move on. Of course we sail past the famous chalk cliffs, the Königstuhl, around the south-eastern part of the island of Rügen, past the Baltic seaside resorts of Binz, Sellin, Baabe, Göhren and Thiessow. We call at the ports of Seedorf, Gager or Lauterbach.

Day 4 – after breakfast, we sail back to Stralsund via the Greifswalder Bodden and the southern Strelasund, so that we can catch the bridge opening of the Ziegelgrabenbrücke at 15:20 on day 4.

Away from the usual ferry routes, we show you the most beautiful sides of Germany’s largest and most popular holiday island of Rügen.

By the end of the sailing trip around Rügen, we have covered a total of about 110 nautical miles, which the skipper can of course confirm to you.

Frequently asked questions

We still handle your bookings personally and therefore do not have an automatic booking system. This way, we can enable you to reserve individual places for a few days without any obligation. This allows you, for example, to arrange your holiday without someone stealing your place from under your nose. For this reason, we cannot keep track of the exact number of free places on a daily basis. However, we regularly check the availability of our sailing holidays. Therefore, you can generally assume that plenty of free places are still available on all trips that are not marked as ‘fully booked’ or ‘Last Minute’. Call us or use our booking form if you want to know the exact number of places available.

If you are travelling alone and have not booked a private cabin, you will be accommodated in a shared cabin. Shared cabins are normally divided by gender. Only on the Belle Amie and Seatrips Yachts do they sometimes have mixed cabins.

Yes, vegetarians and allergies/intolerances can be catered for on most ships. However, there is only one menu per day on the programme. Therefore, please let us know during your booking if you have any special dietary requirements.

In principle, all our trips are suitable for both experienced and novice sailors. The professional crew on board will teach you everything you need to know. In some cases (e.g. on Atlantic crossings) initial sailing experience may be an advantage/requirement. In this case, this will be clearly indicated in the cruise description.
