A day during your group or co-sailing trip can be imagined as follows:
After arriving on board, you will be warmly welcomed by the captain and his crew. They will explain to you the most important ‘ship’s rules’. You will meet your fellow sailors and together you will discuss the voyage.
On the first day of sailing, after breakfast you will get a detailed explanation about the ship and sails. Then the sails are hoisted and we set sail for the first destination port. The adventure begins!
On average, we sail for 5 to 8 hours each day. At the end of the day, we moor in a cosy harbour or anchor in a beautiful bay. Of course, besides sailing there is plenty of time to explore the surroundings. The route is never completely fixed, but is determined by weather and wind. Relaxing days with sun and swimming alternate with days full of wind and challenging sailing – anything is possible!
If you have booked a trip with a special character, such as a mile maker, a regatta or a themed trip, the set-up may be slightly different. You can find more information in the corresponding trip description.
