Onboard a traditional sailing ship, things work a bit differently than in everyday practice. There is a clear hierarchy onboard. This means that there can only be one leader, but this leadership is within small groups that we create and assemble onboard. In these small groups, tasks are divided, and through intensive collaboration, the ship and its crew are guided by the available wind to the next harbor. All of this is done under the expert guidance of experienced and well-trained captains and dedicated sailors, with full compliance to all national and international safety standards applicable to these sailing ships.
In this process, the existing company structures fade away, and people are placed alongside each other or small teams are formed that, in the normal work environment, might not collaborate. One could certainly say that a sailing team outing is truly an active company outing.

For example, by collectively hoisting the sails, taking responsibility for a maneuver, or standing alone at the helm, intense respect for each other and the prevailing teams and forces is often developed.
