A short autumn sailing trip on the Baltic Sea. The discovery weekends are for “landlubbers” who really want to sail for the first time as much as for experienced sailors who want to discover new areas … and of course for ANYONE who just wants to have a good time sailing. The Iris offers a warm and cosy atmosphere. Share your enthusiasm for sailing with the crew and experience unforgettable moments together. Take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of traditional sailing. Help set sails and learn a few sailor’s knots. Of course, there is also plenty of time to just relax and let the wind blow around your nose.

You will come on board on Friday evening and get to know the ship and your fellow sailors. Depending on the wind and weather conditions, we will head for our first destination in the Baltic Sea on Saturday morning. The crew will be happy to take your wishes into consideration. For example, we can make a detour to the Danish South Sea, which is characterised by its idyllic landscapes, historic towns and clear waters. But an overnight stay in a German harbour town such as Kappeln or Flensburg is also possible. No matter which harbour the wind takes you to, you will return home full of new impressions of your very own “tall ship adventure”.

Together with your fellow sailors, you will prepare delicious meals, which you will enjoy in a cosy atmosphere. The sailing ship Iris offers its guests comfort and hospitality. Cosy cabins and lovingly designed common areas invite you to relax.

The exact itinerary may change depending on weather conditions and other factors, adding an exciting touch to the trip. The crew will strive to make the most of the conditions and provide the guests with an unforgettable experience. There will be plenty of time to explore the country, visit local sights and enjoy regional cuisine.
